Proficient in Law and Administration, Professor Shujat Ali Khan has been a professor of excellence in Law. As a highly experienced and knowledgeable litigation lawyer and law professor with over 28 years of expertise, he possesses a vast range of legal skills and capabilities. He has done LLB, LLM and MA Political Science from University of Peshawar. He has also completed Diploma in Criminal Justice from Hallborn College, UK. He has been serving as the Head of Law Department for the last 25 years. He has established BS Law (five years degree programme) at Edwardes College, Peshawar. He has also served as Staff Representative to BOG for four years. He has also rendered his services as Director Sports at Edwardes College contributing towards students academic and co-curricular wellbeing.

The Honourable Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/Chairman, Board of Governor, Edwardes College has appointed Prof. Shujat Ali Khan, as Vice Principal Administration and Acting Principal of Edwardes College. In line with his continued meritorious services as the Acting Principal, he has developed international linkages with international universities to initiate exchange programme of students and staff with foreign universities enhancing the quality of Education at Edwardes.
