The SAGA of Khushal Khan Khattak
Edwardes College Peshawar is amongst the very few institution in the region that have kept their stage alive. Every year the dramatics society puts in great effort to create magic on its stage.
This year we are staging a Pashto play which is based on the life of a legendary Pashtun poet and warrior, Khushal Khan Khattak.
Registration for the stage play "The Saga of Khushal Khan Khattak" is now open.
Dates for Drama:
1st March: For Edwardes College students
2nd March: For students of other colleges/universities/institutions
3rd March: For families and guest
There are only 300 seats on each day, so the registration is on a first come first serve basis.

International Day of Mother Languages Seminar
Seminar was organized by the Pashto community on the occasion of International Mother's Language Day, in which many students and teachers participated. Seminar speakers were Dr. Gulzar Jalal and Dr. Danish Ahmed. In the first seminar, Huzaifa Deputy Sector Pashto Community Edwards College presented introductory note to the listeners of the village and the speakers. Speaker Dr. Danish talked about the rights of mother tongues on the occasion of the historic process of the international mother tongue day, the relationship between language and economy. Speaker pointed out how powerful languages violate mother tongue rights in bi-lingual and multilingual societies. After this, the speaker Dr. Gulzar Jalal talked about the importance of mother tongues, language and literature, Colonial discourse and hegemony.
