Lecturer Yamima Edwin has done her MPhil in English from Forman Christian College (A Chartered University), Lahore. She passed her MPhil with distinction, receiving a gold medal for securing a Cum Laude. Besides, she won merit scholarship in MPhil programme and received Postgraduate Assistantship, gaining two years of research experience at FCCU, Lahore She did her Masters in English from the Department of English and Applied Linguistics, University of Peshawar. She spent four successful years as an Edwardian, winning gold and silver medals in her baccalaureate and proctorship in her final year.She had the honour of being among the organizers for the First International Humanities Conference “Locating the Transcultural Humanities in Pakistan/South Asia” held at FCCU. She was also one of the pioneering Writing Tutors at The Writing Center in FCCU. She presented her research paper at the International Conference on Women, Environment & Environmental Justice organized by International Islamic University, Islamabad and US Embassy. Out of her keen interest in English language and literature, she travelled to England in 2014 where she visited several places of literary interest. Her research interests include South Asian literature, feminist literature, literature on terrorism, sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics.
