Cricket Tournament - Final


Final of Super Sixers Cricket Tournament was played on Friday 13 March 2015 between Khumaryan and Sixer Returns. Bating first, Sixer Returns scored 77 runs in 8 overs. Khymaryan were all out on 44 runs. In this way Sixer Returns won the final. Principal Prof. Dr. Nayer Fardows distributed the prizes to various players. Trophies were awarded to both the finalists. In his brief address, the Principal / Chief Guest highlighted the importance of sports in educational institutions. He advised all students to participate in various co-curricular activities to discover their hidden talents. The principal also congratulated Mr. Nawabzada and the organizers (Students of BCS Term 7) of this tournament for their wonderful arrangements.

A stately Pashto Mushaira was held on 16 November 2015 by Pashto Society of Edwardes College at Canterbury Hall. Manisters of KP Government and MPAs were also present at this splendid evening. A huge nimber of students along with the Principal and faculty attended and enjoyed Pashto Mushaira and Pashto Folk singing. Rahmat Shah Syll presided over the Mushaira.

On November 25, 2015, Debating Society of Edwardes College sent its debators to participate in Peshawar Mega Bilingual Declamation Contest. More than 20 colleges and Universities participated in the contest. Mohammad Farjad (2nd Year), illuminated the name of Edwardes College by securing 2nd position in the contest. Principal Edwardes College Prof. Dr. Nayyer Fardows congratulated Farjad and appricited the efforts made by Debating Society in this connection.
